Dungeons & Dragons Tell Me about Your Character Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. How to Participate:
    1. Consumers participate by submitting a description of their character in accordance with the instructions on www.tellmeaboutyourcharacter.co.uk, and submitting it by post or email to Esdevium Games.
    2. A panel of judges will review all submissions and select 8 finalists. The finalists will be posted to www.tellmeaboutyourcharacter.co.uk. The public will then vote on the finalists. Each member of the public will be allowed to vote once per day during the public voting period. The panel of judges will choose the final winner based in part on the result of the public vote. The decision of the judges is final.
  2. Start and Closing Dates: The promotion begins on Friday, 15 May 2009, and all submissions must be received by Friday, 12 June 2009. The finalists will be announced and public voting commenced, on Monday, 22 June 2009. Public voting will close on Wednesday, 1 July. The winner will be announced on Friday, 3 July 2009.
  3. Prizes:
    1. The 8 finalists each win a 3-month subscription to D&D Insider.
    2. The runner up receives an autographed Player’s Handbook 2 and Monster Manual 2.
    3. The overall winner wins a trip to Gen Con Indy. This prize consists of:
      1. Economy air fare for one person from London or a similar major UK airport to Indianapolis purchased through a travel agent designated by Esdevium Games, or a voucher good for £1000 toward air fare, at the discretion of Esdevium Games
      2. Hotel accommodation for one person for four nights
      3. Two four-day passes to Gen Con Indy
  4. Restrictions:
    1. Participating consumers must be residents of the UK or the Republic of Ireland.
    2. A minor cannot claim the trip to Gen Con Indy prize unless he or she is accompanied on the trip by an adult. Esdevium Games does not bear any responsibility for the costs associated with this adult’s travel.
    3. The decisions of all judges appointed by Esdevium Games are final.
